In order to achieve a quality paint application result, the surfaces of the parts to be painted must be optimized and cleaned (dust, oil, burretc) before painting process. The most well-known surface treatment applications in this field are as follows.
For Metal Parts on the over head conveyor:
- Washing and drying
- Degreasing, rinsing, phospating, rinsing and pasivation
For plastic parts (depending on the material, abs, pbs, pp, pe etc)
- Wiping with IPA (Iautomatic wiping station)
- Flaming Systems (both manually and robotic applicable)
- Plasma Treatment Systems (requires robotic application and booth)
- CO² Cleaning Systems (requires robotic application and special design booth)
